Education Data Snapshot for the Syria Emergency
The Education Data Snapshot for the Syria Emergency uses a variety of data sources to provide up-to-date information about the impact of conflict on education in Syria. The snapshot contains a brief conflict summary, a map of the severity of education need by governorate, and recent education statistics. Figures show the evolution of conflict dynamics, numbers of out-of-school children, and population movements during conflict years. The snapshot also provides a library of links to support navigation to various education, population movement, and conflict data sources that may be relevant to education specialists. Given the dynamic nature of the emergency context, this resource will be updated approximately monthly by the USAID Middle East Education Research, Training, and Support (MEERS) project.
