Protecting Children and Youth from Digital Harm Symposium 2022
The full-day event will bring together leaders in government, civil society, the private sector, and youth themselves to work together to identify and tackle the digital harm issues affecting children and youth.
The Symposium will explore topics ranging from digital inclusion and empowerment to existing protection strategies, and the evolving roles of the technology sector and governments. Throughout the event, participants will also hear directly from USAID’s Digital Youth Council members, who will share their perspectives and challenges regarding online sexual violence, hate speech, and cyberbullying.
USAID, with support from Digital Frontiers at DAI, TechChange, and Save the Children, developed this symposium to help further the U.S. Government’s Advancing Protection and Care for Children in Adversity Strategy and USAID’s Digital Strategy.
Join us on February 8th to learn, share, and engage with colleagues dedicated to protecting children and youth from digital harm, and leave with a better understanding of the space and strategies for designing programming that ensures the safety and well-being of children and youth.
Register for the Symposium here.
We look forward to your attendance at the Symposium on February 8th!
